Just watched the special on NBC on President Obama's administration and family life at the White House. It was so inspiring and amazing to see a beautiful garden with fresh vegetables and herbs growing behind the east wing (not sure, I think it the east wing?). The First Lady had school children come there and plant the seedlings and now this garden's products are handpicked by the chefs and not only cooked for the Obama's but for guests during White House functions.
