6: Countdown to Zomppa Y2 – Kat

| April 27, 2010 | 2 Comments

Day 6 to our countdown Day our one-year celebration of Zomppa on May 3. Today is our intrepid ZomppaKat, who is the communications and web brains behind our website! Check out her own practice.

What is your favorite food movie or book?

Like Water for Chocolate, particularly the scene where she makes the quails with the rose petals. Another lesser known Italian movie that had underlying story about baking was “La Finestra Difronte” (Facing Windows), I recommend it in general. Raul Bova (aka, gorgeous sexy guy in Under the Tuscan Sun) is also in this :) . In real life this guy is a gem apparently, happily married with 3 kids, and mother-in-law who dotes on him, and she’s Italy’s leading divorce attorney!!!

Given my love of Italian food, I gotta give my book kudos to the “Eat” part of “Eat, Pray, Love“. I enjoyed the whole book, but have to admit that it went a little downhill for me after the “Eat” part :)
