Impact of the oil spill on the seafood industry in the Gulf of Mexico

| June 4, 2010 | 9 Comments

The New Orleans-based Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board has launched a dynamic new newsroom site to manage online news and crisis communications as a result of the devastating impact on the seafood industry caused by the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

The site was launched a week ago – www.LouisianaSeafoodNews.com – and is already filled with news stories about the fishermen, chefs and the seafood industry. The site is being updated on a daily basis and includes personal stories, photos and video on the ground.

Zomppa is keeping a close eye on this crisis and wants to help out in whatever way it can by raising awareness about the issues.  Please join us in bringing greater awareness to this terrible tragedy by visiting the news site and sharing it with others.
