  6. yum… I think I see those labelled as champagne mangos around here? they looks so nice and fresh….perfect for a mango sorbet!

    These ones are perfect for rasa – puree…the champagne mangoes are the ones that come closest to Alfonso…but I haven’t found any yet that compares! They are harder to find outside South and Southeast Asia…though sometimes you can find them in Asian or Indian supermarkets. Regardless, mangoes are perfect!!

  9. I love mango! There are a lot of tasty mangoes in Thailand. I have never tried this Alfonso Mango though. But they sure look delicious!

    Hey there Belinda///// yummm – they have now past their peak so we are not getting them for super cheap anymore. But…. in June we were eating them like crazy and I even made mango margaritas…
