Dispelling the Myth that Junk Food is Cheaper: Tidbit of the Day

Not quite sure how we missed this one by Mark Bittman last fall, so just in case you also missed it, we thought we would post this rather compelling chart that proves the fact that a healthy diet is not something only the elite can afford.

In his article Is Junk Food Really Cheaper?, Bittman breaks down all the various arguments (or shall we say excuses) around healthy eating and clearly spells out all the cheaper healthier alternatives people could be eating instead of highly processed foods.
