Puckett’s: TidBit of the Day

When you ask someone in Nashville, TN what is the best BBQ place, you might get differing answers. One thing most everyone agrees on is that Puckett’s Grocery & Restaurant delivers the good stuff. Voted best BBQ at Nashville’s first annual People’s Choice, this understated place boasts some of the best BBQ – infused with flavor and moist – something many places find a hard time doing.

Though I’m from NC, I have to say, I’m partial to this BBQ sauce. Their sides also don’t play second fiddle with corn griddles, homemade onion rings, BBQ.

I’m also picky about my fried green tomatoes – and my, oh my, these are probably some of the best I’ve ever had.

Their smoked chicken – available only after 5pm – is also worth stretching the stomach. This smoked chicken is so moist, so perfectly seasoned, so…amazing.

Even their desserts should not be missed, from homemade peach cobbler to chocolate chess pie.

People of Nashville were not wrong to vote this their top choice.
