Sol Food Mobile Farm, Welcome Home Party!

Remember that giant red school bus that left Durham, NC last June for a six month National Tour?  The one with the mobile greenhouse, solar panels and an engine that runs on waste vegetable oil?  Well that bus and the Sol Food Mobile Farm crew have just completed their 12,000 mile journey around the United States, visiting over fifty farms, gardens, markets and community centers!

Fullstream Brewery, 726 Rigsbee Avenue, Durham, NC

 

This Sunday, December 16th, Zomppa and Sol Food Mobile Farm would like to invite YOU to celebrate the bus’ Durham homecoming atFullsteam Brewery (located at 726 Rigsbee Avenue, in the Creative District near the Durham Farmers Market).  The festivities will begin at 4:00pm and end at 8:00pmAt 7:00 there will be an informal presentation from the Sol Food crew about their experience and their plans for the coming year. The bus will also be parked in front of the Brewery for guests to tour. Come out and enjoy local beer, live bluegrass and all of your favorite Durham neighbors!  This event is open to guests of all ages- including your furry pets.
